The CP Stage is a compact, ruggedized, circularly polarized antenna designed for in-ear monitor transmitters and wireless microphone systems. Building on the success of the CP Beam and CP Architectural antennas, the CP Stage offers high performance and reliability in a portable package, making it ideal for touring and band fly packs.

Housed in a lightweight yet durable IP-rated 10 x 12 x 1" weather-resistant enclosure, the CP Stage is suitable for both portable use and permanent outdoor installation. The antenna is easily connected to a microphone stand mount or wall-mounted bracket, providing a secure connection to boost signal quality for both in-ear monitors and microphones wherever you need it - rain or shine.

Product Setup

The CP Architectural antenna installs in minutes, with a wall or ceiling-mounted rear plate that is pre-drilled with multiple mounting hole options. The rear plate then simply connects to the front plate, secured with the included mounting screws. Simply connect the rear-mounted BNC terminated coaxial cable to your in-wall or in-ceiling coaxial cable run and the CP Architectural is ready for use.

What is the CP Architectural Antenna designed for?

The CP Architectural Antenna is designed to make up for the shortcomings of IEM beltpacks. It provides all of the benefits of helical antennas in a lightweight, durable, folding form-factor. Helical or “multi-polarized” antennas provide higher gain due to their coverage pattern (narrow beam width), and superior protection against interference due to the circular polarization of the antenna element.

Why do circularly polarized (CP) antennas outperform paddle antennas?

CP antennas are overwhelmingly the antenna of choice for IEM transmission because the circular motion of the RF field emitted distributes the signal through all possible polarization angles. This removes the greatest risk of dropouts and noise, as most IEM belt packs are limited to a single whip antenna.

How do I set up a CP Architectural Antenna for my IEM system?

For the best performance and easiest setup, when using multiple channels of IEM they should be connected to a combiner and then transmitted via a single CP antenna using the lowest gain setting that reliably works on your transmitters.
